Risk Management Leader for Technology and Information Security

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Leader to drive the implementation, monitoring, and assurance of our Risk Management Strategy (RMS) and operational risk management framework (ORMF). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing technology, information security, and service delivery risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices.
This position requires strong leadership skills to partner closely with Group Technology and Information Security, facilitating effective issue and incident management. You will conduct operational risk assurance reviews and deliver insightful reports, contributing to a robust risk culture across the Bank.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and frameworks, facilitating the annual risk profile review, and supporting the strategic direction and growth of BOQ Group. This role is integral to embedding key risk management processes and ensuring our risk management strategies are robust and effective.
About the Job Description
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing and leading assurance reviews within the financial services sector, with significant expertise in technology risk, information security, and service delivery. Your deep understanding of the value an effective control environment brings to a business is complemented by your ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and meet timelines.
Our ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. You excel in developing good working relationships and sharing knowledge effectively.
We offer a competitive salary of $$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements, discounted financial products, and access to employee network groups focused on diversity and inclusion.
