Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team in the electronic trading space, focusing on the buildout of an Interest Rate Swap (IRS) platform.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on low-latency, market-facing systems used by traders and operations teams globally. You will contribute to both back-end and front-end components, including state machine logic for RFQ workflows, UI development for trader tools, and integration with external platforms such as MarkitWire.

The ideal candidate will have strong Java and Angular skills, interest in financial markets, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building components of the electronic Interest Rate Swap (eIRS) trading platform.
  • Support the development of RFQ state machines, pricing event wiring, and override messaging logic.
  • Contribute to UI development for trading workflows and integration with MarkitWire for Straight Through Processing (STP).
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement core pricing models and analytics.
  • Maintain and enhance microservices built with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Use AI tools to support engineering efforts.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams in a squad-based delivery model.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java and Angular
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot and REST APIs
  • Experience with AI Tools in Software Development
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies
  • Interest in financial markets and trading systems
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
