We are seeking a skilled engineer to contribute to the development of an electronic interest rate swap trading platform. This role involves working on both front-end and back-end components, including state machine logic for RFQ workflows, UI development for trader tools, and integration with external platforms.

">Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in building components of the electronic Interest Rate Swap (eIRS) trading platform.
  2. Support the development of RFQ state machines, pricing event wiring, and override messaging logic.
  3. Contribute to UI development for trading workflows and integration with MarkitWire for Straight Through Processing (STP).
  4. Collaborate with senior engineers and quants to implement core pricing models and analytics.
  5. Maintain and enhance microservices built with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud services.
  6. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  7. Use Agentic AI tools to support and accelerate engineering efforts.
  8. Engage with cross-functional teams in a squad-based delivery model.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Java is essential.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot and REST APIs is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Angular (UI engineering) is essential.
  • Experience with Agentic AI Tools in software development is essential.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies is essential.
  • Interest in financial markets and trading systems is essential.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.

You are curious about financial markets and motivated to make an impact in electronic trading technology.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of professional software development experience.
Prior experience in capital markets or trading platforms is a plus but not mandatory.
