The role involves identifying engagement opportunities in Canberra and developing responses to those opportunities, including their initial delivery. You will be responsible for building our engagement portfolio, with an initial focus on existing clients where we are engaged through the DSS Panel and our MSP Partnership with Jacobs.

You will play an active role in the evolution of our D&NS Market and Business Line Strategy. There may also be an opportunity for you to further expand your role and take a broader responsibility in the delivery of Beca's Services in the ACT.


About You:
  • You have proven Business Development skills and experience in the identification and development of people to execute identified opportunities.
  • You are well connected within the Canberra Defence community and have a background in the Defence sector and/or in working with Defence industry.

To be successful in the role, you need to possess excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a team and within a matrix organisation.

Given the nature of the role, it is mandatory that you hold (or will be able to obtain) a current Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance at Baseline level or higher.
