Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Officer within the Defence Graduate and Entry Level Programs Directorate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex transactional, procedural, operational and administrative work.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development of policies and procedures to support participant or graduate experience
  • Liaising and collaborating with key stakeholders to increase awareness of Defence's Graduate and Entry Level programs
  • Planning and assisting events and workshops to promote entry level pathways into Defence
  • Gathering client and stakeholder feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Supporting the team to ensure Defence standards, processes and policies are understood and upheld by Program participants
