We are seeking a high-caliber individual to join our team as a Director of Financial Analysis. This is a highly visible role within the organization and requires exceptional financial modeling and strategic thinking skills.

">Overview:

The Deal Finance team provides comprehensive financial support to the US Networks Distribution group, including analysis and strategic insights for renewal and new business efforts. As a key member of this team, you will work closely with all members of the deal team to drive strategic conversations and provide thought-provoking analysis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to develop deep knowledge of key affiliate agreements, particularly pricing and packaging. You will have the ability to create complex financial models to analyze the economics of distribution deals and evaluate proposals to prepare strategic and thoughtful points of view.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing in-depth knowledge of key affiliate agreements, particularly pricing and packaging
  • Creating complex financial models to analyze the economics of distribution deals
  • Evaluating proposals and preparing strategic and thoughtful points of view
  • Conducting company and industry research and incorporating analysis for senior internal decision making
  • Preparing presentations for senior management on upcoming renewals
  • Ensuring compliance and documentation bound by distribution agreements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance
  • 5 years' experience working in a highly analytical environment (top-tier investment banking, business development, consulting, strategy groups)
  • Advanced skills in Excel (build financial models) and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage large data sets and databases
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA and media industry experience a plus
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
