Critical Care Nurse Position

Our veterinary hospital is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team in the exciting world of emergency and critical care.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with our team of experienced nurses and veterinarians to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring seamless collaboration and excellent results for our patients.
- Participate in daily hospital rounds, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing protocols and procedures, enhancing patient care and staff efficiency.
- Utilize exceptional organisation and communication skills to ensure smooth patient care operations, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, embracing change and adapting to the unpredictable nature of emergency and critical care.
- Qualifications as a Veterinary Nurse, minimum Certificate IV or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in nursing practices.
- At least 2 years' experience in the veterinary industry as a nurse, showcasing proficiency in patient care and team management.
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and information exchange.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, following instructions while also demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends, ensuring 24/7 patient care coverage.
