Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
This is a rewarding opportunity for a professional nurse to work with a diverse patient cohort, delivering evidence-based care for complex surgical and medical cases. As a member of our ICU team, you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and monitor patient progress to ensure optimal care.
- Identify sudden or subtle changes in patient condition and take prompt action.
- Provide holistic care for patients throughout their recovery in the ICU, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
- Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Serve as a conduit for information between doctors, patients, and families, ensuring seamless communication.
To succeed in this role, you will possess strong collaboration and communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. You will also have the ability to work autonomously and take initiative to identify innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in ICU nursing.
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing.
- Solid understanding of health information structures and technology.
- Availability to work day and night shifts, including on-call participation.
