Critical Care Nurse

The role involves working as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, providing care to critically ill patients with various conditions. The position includes a transition to ICU and the opportunity to learn through bedside teaching, weekly tutorials, and dedicated study days.
You will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to exceptional patient-focused care. Flexible working options are available to accommodate university, home, and work-life balance.
This is an employment model with paid study leave that allows you to continue your education while gaining valuable experience. A recruitment process for ongoing employment will be undertaken post successful completion of the course.
You will have the opportunity to apply for hospital-based scholarships to assist with tuition fees.
To thrive in this role, you will need excellent clinical, time management, organisational, and communication skills. A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to effective patient care and management is essential. You must also be able to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
- Current proof of influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
