Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee daily power station activities across mechanical systems, with a focus on conveyor operations and shutdown execution. The successful candidate will have hands-on leadership skills, deep familiarity with unionized environments, and proven experience managing teams in coal-fired power generation or similar industrial settings.

About the Role
  • Lead and coordinate daily power station activities
  • Ensure compliance with site safety protocols and union agreements
  • Coach and mentor trades personnel
  • Liaise with planning teams to align work scopes with operational priorities
  • Conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments
  • Monitor contractor performance
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Supervisor or Team Leader role
  • Background in mechanical, technical, or trade-based work
  • Willingness to drive or relocate
  • Belt and idler conveyor experience is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of mining planning, scheduling, and resource management
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and communication skills
  • Experience managing crews on active sites
