Job Overview:

The Media and Digital Content Officer plays a crucial role in promoting the work of Queensland Health through various multimedia channels. As a storyteller, you will create engaging content that showcases our diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing end-to-end digital content strategies for multiple channels.
  • Planning, writing, shooting, editing, and publishing content from media conferences, interviews, and events.
  • Creating original content and preparing, producing, and distributing media collateral.
  • Collaborating with other areas to amplify messaging.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in media relations/journalism and digital content creation.
  • Proficiency in video and audio recording equipment and software tools.
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work at pace and make decisions independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong writing and editorial skills and experience in identifying and planning proactive media opportunities.
  • Administrative duties such as preparing media summaries and reports.
