About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our Perth office. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a leadership role in planning and delivering our firm's communication activities, particularly for areas of strategic focus.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management

  • Nurture and lead a high-performing communications service team advising a portfolio of our national business areas and Perth office priorities.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in the creation, approval, and distribution of content.

Communication Planning, Execution, and Reporting

  • Lead the development and delivery of the go-to-market communications strategy for a range of portfolio areas across the business, ensuring alignment to our national strategy.
  • Proactively identify, deliver, and report on communication campaigns and opportunities for portfolio areas.
  • Collaborate and engage directly with other Clients & Markets functional areas, including Client Experience and Business Development, to ensure successful delivery aligned to the client journey.
  • Report and analyse communication metrics to guide continual improvement.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including with our leaders and relevant teams across the business – locally and nationally.
  • Provide on-the-ground communication support for our Perth Executive Leadership Team to support the local firm strategy and office priorities.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or public relations.
  2. At least seven years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a partnership structure or professional services business.
  3. Ability to develop rapport at all levels.
  4. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  6. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
