Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Asset Manager to join our team at Longreach Recruitment Pty. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic asset management objectives and contributing to the overall success of our business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial property management and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will be essential in assisting with due diligence on property acquisitions, unlocking value-add opportunities through development, and preparing investment and Board reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with due diligence on property acquisitions to ensure informed investment decisions.
  • Identify and capitalize on value-add opportunities through development, enhancing the overall value of our portfolio.
  • Prepare comprehensive investment and Board reports, including budget and variance analysis, to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Liaise and manage external management agencies, including leasing agents and property managers, to ensure seamless property operations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants, ensuring their needs are met and their satisfaction is high.
  • Prepare tenancy schedules and ensure all legal and legislative requirements are met.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic asset management plans across the portfolio, driving long-term value creation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial property management.
  • A strong commercial leasing and financial understanding, with a property-related degree being highly desirable.
  • Superior communication and time management skills, with the ability to deal with various stakeholders across multiple properties.
  • A great attitude and willingness to learn, with a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
