Assessment and Repair Specialist

The role requires an experienced trade-qualified individual to assess vehicle damage accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining cost-effective and safe repairs, conducting post-repair inspections, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately assess vehicle damage using the correct repair method.
  • Conduct post-repair inspections to ensure quality.
  • Multi-channel assessing responsibility.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers both on the phone and in person.
  • Undertake vehicle assessments in line with underwriting terms & conditions & claims protocols.
  • Write accurate assessment reports and negotiate scope & costs for vehicle repairs via Partner or Customer's own repairers.
  • Manage rectifications in accordance with the Industry Code of Conduct & engage PSM in the appropriate recovery of costs.
  • Work as part of a state team of assessors to problem solve customer's repair issues.
  • Deliver excellent key to key customer repair times to increase customer advocacy.

Requirements:

  • Industry trade qualified.
  • Experience and current knowledge of the motor body repair industry.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Sound level of computer literacy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
