Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Commis Chef to fill this role.

This hotel is located on the edge of the Swan River, near Barrack Square and Elizabeth Quay.

The hotel has received recognition including the AHA WA Superior Accommodation Award in 2021 and 2023, and our restaurant has the AHA WA Contemporary Cuisine Award in 2023.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
  • Prepare food efficiently, economically, and safely for guests.
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation according to recipes and standards.
  • Use all equipment, tools, and machines effectively.
  • Work closely with the Stewarding department and other kitchen staff.
  • Maintain a professional attitude towards colleagues, supervisors, and guests.
About You
  • You must have at least six months of full Australian work rights.
  • You should be physically based in the Perth Metropolitan Area or willing to relocate.
  • You must have at least one year of experience in a similar role.
  • You should be technically strong, reliable, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
  • You must be skilled in time management and organisation.
