About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Rockpool Bar & Grill in Sydney. As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Ensure that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable dining experience, consistently delivering high-quality service and attention to detail.
  • Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver excellent guest service, while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Manage labour costs, sales targets, and events to ensure the financial success of the restaurant.
  • Wine Knowledge: Demonstrate expertise on international and Australian wines, providing exceptional wine service to our guests.
  • Licensing and Compliance: Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with responsible service of alcohol and licensing regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Supervisor or management role in a premium/hatted setting.
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver a premium guest experience and consistent sequence of service.
  • Strong financial acumen relevant to labour management, sales targets, and events.
  • Sound understanding of responsible service of alcohol and licensing regulations.
  • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate a team to deliver excellent guest service.
  • Expertise on international and Australian wines.
