**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Northern Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of mechanical fitters, reviewing plant maintenance issues, and implementing solutions to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Accountability for Maintenance and Repair:** Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, including electrical and mechanical work.
  • **Plant Upgrades and Maintenance:** Lead efforts to upgrade plant and facility infrastructure for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
  • **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure compliance with plant regulatory requirements.
  • **Maintenance Knowledge:** Possess knowledge of injection moulding machines, their ancillaries, and robots.
  • **Contractor Management:** Oversee general contractors and manage their visits and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • **Site Infrastructure:** Responsible for site infrastructure and facilities maintenance requirements.
  • **ISO Procedures:** Collaborate with the QA Manager to prepare and update ISO procedures as needed.
  • **Audit Management:** Participate in and manage ISO audit requirements related to maintenance.
  • **Spare Parts Management:** Responsible for maintaining the spare parts management system.
  • **Preventive Maintenance:** Develop and maintain plant/equipment preventative maintenance programs.
  • **Workshop Management:** Responsible for the safe operation and tidiness of the maintenance workshop, equipment, and tools.
  • **Project Management:** Lead projects involving commissioning, installation, modification, or renovation of building and equipment.
  • **Contractor Management:** Collaborate with engineers and suppliers to monitor or plan jobs to be completed by outside contractors.
  • **Cost Control:** Control costs, scheduling, and development of maintenance activities.
  • **Supply Chain Management:** Manage supplies, purchases, and budget set by reporting Manager.
  • **Emergency Response:** On call for emergency repairs required outside regular hours.
  • **Maintenance Log:** Actively attend to all maintenance requests and update the maintenance log.
Requirements:
  • **Strong Commitment to WH&S:** Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • **Basic Office Applications:** Proficient in basic office applications, including MS Word and Excel.
  • **Automation System Controls:** Familiarity with automation system controls and PLC programming, such as Siemens and Unitronics.
  • **Electrical and Mechanical Systems:** Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including speed drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • **Communication and Interpersonal Skills:** Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • **Multitasking:** A proactive approach with an attention to detail and a proven ability to multitask.
  • **Manufacturing Knowledge:** Understand manufacturing and industrial breakdowns related to injection moulding machines and fault finding.
  • **Licenses:** Current driver's license and forklift license.
  • **Team Player:** A team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
