The Natural Ecosystems Focus Area drives work in environment and conservation, restoring and maintaining healthy ecosystems for all generations.
We protect and restore natural ecosystems by fostering legislation, supporting research and development in science and technology, and developing sustainable financial models to balance needs of beneficiaries.
As a highly credible expert in climate science and innovation, you will communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, influence policy discussion, and inspire action on climate solutions, leading a team of subject matter experts.
- Serve as primary scientific Climate representative at international events and engagements, supporting the Foundation in delivering informed speeches and appearances.
- Communicate complex climate science in clear, compelling ways to the Board, policymakers, global media, and public.
- Cultivate relationships with global stakeholders, including international organizations, government leaders, and NGOs to achieve strategy.
- Co-chair the Lethal Humidity Global Council, a Minderoo-led international coalition raising awareness of lethal humidity impacts caused by worsening climate change.
Lead the climate team with values-based and inclusive approach to achieve mission and support the wider Natural Ecosystems Leadership Team.
