As a leading professional with extensive experience in climate mitigation strategies and evidence-based advocacy, you will communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences, influence policy discussion, and inspire action on climate solutions.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A track record of leading impactful climate initiatives and entrepreneurial approaches to long-term systems change.">
  • Expertise in carbon dioxide removal solutions, land sinks, ocean sinks, and engineered solutions.">
  • Strong reputation and networks across key stakeholders in climate change in Australia and internationally.">
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and compellingly to various audiences, including policy makers, global media, and the public.">
  • Capacity to lead a team of subject matter experts with world-class communications skills and advocate for climate solutions, influence public opinions, and elevate our mission.">

">About You">

You are a seasoned professional with a PhD in climate, atmospheric science, environmental science, or similar field, and 15 years' experience in climate science, industrial, or sectoral decarbonisation, environmental policy, or philanthropy.

  • Experience in partnering across disciplines and sectors, including research, philanthropy, policy makers, and business.">

Key Responsibilities">

  • Serve as the primary scientific Climate representative for our organization at international events and engagements.">

  • Continue to evolve the climate strategy and develop projects that make up the climate change strategy.">
