Program Manager for Refugee Settlement Services

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in providing accommodation and initial support to newly arrived refugees and asylum seekers. The role involves strategic thinking, collaboration with stakeholders, and managing a high-performing team to ensure clients receive essential support.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans for refugee settlement services
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals to deliver high-quality support services
- Cultivate relationships with real estate agents, property managers, and developers to secure housing options
- Coordinate airport arrivals and essential appointments for clients
- Manage delivery of contractual performance indicators and ensure team activities comply with program requirements
- Minimum four years' experience in management and leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience in the housing sector, including well-established networks and strong working relationships
- Proven ability to navigate housing challenges with a solution-focused approach
- Strong knowledge of logistics and service coordination within a client-focused environment
- Dynamic relationship-building skills and ability to maximize stakeholder relationships
- Highly developed decision-making and prioritizing skills
- Experience in effectively leading teams towards achieving key performance indicators
This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, with travel across regional Queensland. The successful candidate will have opportunities for professional development and growth within a dynamic organization.
