The Executive Officer plays a pivotal role in administering the Paediatric Surgical Education and Training program across Australia and New Zealand.
- Coordinate activities in accordance with regulations, policies, procedures, and timelines, including selection, assessment requirements, hospital accreditations, and documentation for committee meetings.
- Provide executive-level administrative support, drafting reports and correspondence for the Committee Chair and Members.
- Maintain accurate records of SET Trainees' clinical and assessment requirements, monitoring progress, and identifying issues for discussion.
- Assist with scheduling activities, special projects as required, and maintain liaison with RACS Specialty Training Board/Committees, Regional Offices, Specialty Organisations, and Government bodies.
