Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Development Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Registrar. This role provides an excellent opportunity for those interested in OMFS training, offering exposure to a wide range of clinical experiences and the chance to work with a dedicated team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in outpatient clinics, manage ward patients, assist and operate in operating theatres, and perform oral surgery in community centres.
- Support surgical procedures and conduct dentoalveolar surgery under local anaesthesia.
- Fulfill on-call rosters for the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery unit.
- Collaborate with the accredited registrar and other members of the surgical team, including single-qualified OMFS trainees at medical school.
- Work under consultant supervision to develop clinical skills and decision-making capabilities.
- The unaccredited registrar role offers vital clinical experience and training for OMS training programs.
- Supervisors provide referee reports, which are essential for the registrar's application to accredited training posts.
- OMFS qualifications and/or relevant experience.
