About the Role

We are seeking an experienced retail manager to lead our team to success in our Para Hills showroom. As a key member of our team, you will oversee all operations of the business and drive sales with proven experience in a trade retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Use your design expertise to assist clients with their flooring projects and ensure they receive tailored solutions.
  • Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and trade partners.
  • Team Leadership: Delegate tasks effectively and lead your team to capitalise on growth opportunities.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Showroom Presentation: Ensure the showroom is well-maintained and products are showcased in an appealing manner.
Requirements
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the flooring or related design sectors and the ability to read floor plans and estimate material requirements.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in retail management including operations and developing a team to succeed.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to interpret floor plans and estimate material requirements.
  • Product Merchandising: Display flooring products such as timber, carpet, and tiles attractively in the showroom.
