Major Events and Partnerships Director

Key ResponsibilitiesThe General Manager will lead the delivery of major events and commercial programs, focusing on delivering exceptional National Games and driving revenue growth through partnerships and philanthropy.
Requirements- Relevant tertiary qualifications and 10+ years' experience in major event management and/or commercial within sport and/or NFP industry
- Experience in project management, risk management, budgeting and financial reporting
- Exceptional leadership, diplomacy, negotiation and relationship management skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience and existing government and corporate network

Additional InformationDesirable criteria include experience working with Boards and leading sub-committees and volunteers, as well as an understanding of not-for-profit and national disability sporting organisations.
