A Social Visits Volunteer who can make a real difference - One visit at a time

Are you someone who enjoys walking? How about being a companion for an older person? We're looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to visit a thoughtful elderly lady who's feeling a bit lonely and would like to meet a friend to visit her for a walk. Your time and company could make a world of difference.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the client you are matched with.

What You'll Need To Get Started

18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
•Working with Vulnerable people check

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
