Payroll Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to manage the payroll process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

  • Manage the Run Payroll-process and execute scheduled payroll runs efficiently.
  • Perform reconciliation with associated reports, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and accuracy of the payroll.
  • Monitor Australia's legislative changes and collaborate with Country Payroll Managers to implement timely adjustments to the payroll system.
  • Assist Country Payroll Manager in performing self-audit, including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement projects, focusing on cost reductions and process performance enhancements.
  • Engage with local senior stakeholders, regulators, and tax authorities.

Key Requirements:

  • Significant work experience in-country Payroll Operations (Australia legislations)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of SAP HR/Payroll systems
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proven experience in driving service excellence within a team or organization
