Contract Management Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the development and management of contracts with suppliers.

This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to develop and manage supplier contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will utilise best practice knowledge to optimise day-to-day supplier management processes, monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and deliver value for money.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and manage supplier contracts.

  • Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Interface with multiple departments to gather requirements and feedback for contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Engage with suppliers as needed to resolve issues and enhance relationships.
  • Support the business in achieving key priorities through effective contract management practices.
  • Ensure all contract activities adhere to compliance and probity requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree qualifications or equivalent, with infrastructure, construction and MRO sector experience.
  • 5+ years' experience working in contract management in a large, complex organisation, preferably in a similar organisation or industry sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with external suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex commercial matters through reports and presentations.
  • Industry-wide knowledge around the New Engineering Contract - Revision 4 (NEC4) principles for efficient management of contractual obligations.
