Job Title: Lead OrganiserAbout the PositionThis is a challenging role that requires an individual who can lead and motivate others to achieve the union's goals. The position involves developing, implementing, and managing operational organising plans in line with the union's industry strategies and campaigns.The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience in leading a team and developing strategy. They will also be able to participate in the union's political and social justice agenda, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement operational organising plans that align with the union's industry strategies and campaigns.
  2. Lead and motivate a team of organisers to achieve the union's goals.
  3. Assist in campaign development, reviews, and innovation.
  4. Develop the union's organising capability and support the development of organisers.
  5. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including union members, potential members, and other organisations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A passion for improving workers' lives and achieving the goals of the union.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in leading a team and developing strategy.
  • Ability to participate in the union's political and social justice agenda.
  • Right of Entry Permits.
