
Youth Casework Specialist

Key responsibilities for this role include delivering high quality casework services to young people, using advanced assessment and intervention skills. This will involve working closely with families, community organisations and other key stakeholders.
You will also prepare and present information and evidence to the Children's Court, conduct interviews and liaise with court stakeholders. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing reports and documentation as required.
This position involves engaging with internal and external stakeholders to establish partnerships and alliances to achieve positive outcomes. You will work collaboratively to formulate case plans, develop action-oriented goals and provide support to young people and their families.
Furthermore, you will undertake record management tasks, including maintenance of case records and data entry. You will also provide advice and support to colleagues on complex cases.
Moreover, you will participate in training and professional development activities to enhance your knowledge and skills. In addition, you will take a leadership and mentoring role, supervising less experienced staff and contributing to peer supervision.
Ultimately, you will demonstrate cultural capability and promote an inclusive culture that respects human rights.
