Job Title: Head of Events, Learning and Partnerships

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our events, learning, and partnerships team.

  • This role is instrumental in driving our Professional Development strategy, fostering partnerships, and delivering key national events and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Events, Learning and Partnerships Team, providing direction, coaching and mentorship.
  • Serve as the Project Manager for the annual national Planning Congress, overseeing all aspects of its delivery.
  • Source and secure sponsorships for national events, fostering relationships with potential partners.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with sponsors, ensuring sponsor benefits are delivered at key events.
  • Oversee the PIA National Awards for Planning Excellence program, including the annual awards ceremony.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in event management and leadership, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale events.
  • Highly developed project management skills and ability to show initiative.
  • Strong business development skills and a successful history in sourcing event partners.
  • Excellent relationship management abilities, with experience in building and maintaining partnerships.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.
