Lead Event Content Strategist

Our organisation seeks a highly skilled Lead Event Content Strategist to design and deliver sophisticated national events. This role offers the chance to shape high-value governance content and lead a team of event producers.

The successful candidate will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the design, content strategy, and execution of over 200 events annually. They will manage and mentor a team of content producers, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, policy releases, and member needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering quality event experiences.

  • Design and schedule the national event program, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of event content producers.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, committees, and internal teams.
  • Drive program improvement through market research, stakeholder feedback, and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement content strategies that engage high-level membership audiences.
  • Manage event calendars, budgets, and reporting tools.
  • Oversee content development, speaker sourcing, and program reporting.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in event programming, content strategy, and team leadership.
  • Delivered large-scale professional or corporate events.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Experience in governance, professional associations, or membership organisations highly regarded.
