A key position in our insurance organization is available for an experienced professional who can effectively manage workers compensation claims. The Claims Advisor will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of claims, ensuring that injured customers receive the necessary treatment and rehabilitation.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to provide key stakeholders with information about the claims management process. They will assess claim values, determine entitlements, gather and analyze medical and rehabilitation data, and consider options for positive claims outcomes.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a team that specializes in excellence in personal injury claims management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with claimants, employers, brokers, and treatment providers to ensure effective claim management.

  • Proactively manage claims using best practice strategic claims management techniques.

  • Obtain and review medical, financial, and rehabilitation reports to assess individual claims.

  • Manage workflow to meet legislative and regulatory timeframes.

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including communication with claimants, employers, brokers, and medical specialists.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and work well with a team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

  • Business acumen, including understanding data, identifying areas for improvement, and delivering business targets.

  • Solid stakeholder management experience to balance the needs of multiple parties.
