Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Executive to oversee national operations, drive strategic logistics outcomes, and lead high-performing teams.

This role will involve leading financial and operational performance across national customer contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and development, with experience in profitability reviews, rate negotiations, and new business proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial and operational performance across national customer contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Drive business analysis and development, including profitability reviews, rate negotiations, and new business proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, including audits, SOPs, and quality documentation.
  • Champion continuous improvement by streamlining reporting and operational processes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customer representatives.
  • Oversee human resources and industrial relations performance, ensuring teams are trained, competent, and aligned with organizational values.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures.
  • Act as the key contact for customers on contract and service-related matters, ensuring service excellence and contract compliance.
Requirements
  • Several years' experience in logistics and business management, ideally in a national or multi-site capacity.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive performance across diverse operations.
  • Experience with SAP and a solid understanding of warehouse and transport systems.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • A degree in business management, accounting, or economics (desirable).
  • A commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
