About the Role

As a senior leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Sydney Metro M1 line. This includes managing a team of professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, integrated, reliable, customer-focused, and efficient metro passenger services.

You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including Northwest Rapid Transit and Metro Trains Sydney, to achieve project objectives. Your key responsibilities will include leading an integrated cross-functional team focused on operational delivery and performance, contract management, operational readiness, customer experience, and communications.

Additionally, you will create and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership teams to provide strategic direction and drive the delivery of a world-class metro line. You will also partner with resources from across Sydney Metro and Transport cluster to support the existing metro line and build knowledge and capability for future lines.

About You
  • You hold a tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience in railway operations.
  • You possess a strategic commercial mindset with big picture thinking and proven executive-level leadership and management skills.
