Dedicated Speech Therapist Wanted for Melbourne Role

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our growing team in Melbourne. This community-based role offers a competitive salary of up to $140,000 depending on experience, plus fantastic benefits including a $2,000 CPD allowance after 6 months and a KPI bonus. You'll enjoy flexible working hours with a target of 25 billable hours per week, catering to a diverse caseload that can be tailored to your interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to determine the patient's needs and goals.
- Develop individualised treatment plans that address the patient's needs and goals.
- Implement treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate clients and their families on the therapy process and techniques.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide ongoing support and encouragement to clients throughout their therapy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Pathologist (no early graduates at this time).
- Current membership with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license.
