Job Title: Dietary Support AssociateAbout the Role:

This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment assisting patients with their dietary needs. As a Dietary Support Associate, you will be responsible for supporting Dietitians in their daily tasks and ensuring that patients receive the necessary care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Menu Management: Assist with the preparation, distribution, collection, and collation of patient menus.
  • Kitchen Oversight: Monitor plating processes in the hospital kitchen to ensure food safety standards are met.
  • Administrative Tasks: Support Dietitians with administrative tasks relevant to the role.
About You:
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition and Dietetics) or equivalent experience is required.
  • You should have a basic understanding of clinical nutrition practices, specialized nutrition products, and food safety/HACCP principles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to work independently are essential.
  • You must be able to cover a 7-day roster and adapt to short notice shifts.
  • Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new software are also required.
