Job Description

We are seeking a Dietary Support Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality food services to rehabilitation and palliative care patients. This is a permanent part-time position, working 64 hours per fortnight with a rotating schedule across 7 days.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, distribution, collection, and processing of patient menus
  • Assisting dietitians with duties within their scope of practice
  • Supervision of the plating of patient meals

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition and Dietetics) or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of basic clinical nutrition practices, specialised nutrition products, and food safety/HACCP
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, organisational skills, and ability to work as a team member
