Dietary Support Specialist

About the Role
A vital support position exists in the Nutrition & Dietetics Department. In this role, you will contribute to delivering high-quality nutritional care for inpatients by managing daily menu selections, accommodating food preferences, and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
You will be working closely with patients and carers, ward staff, and Food Services to ensure accurate and timely meal provision.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about patient care and nutrition. Working in a collaborative hospital environment, you'll contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall hospital experience.
Key Responsibilities
This position involves maintaining a high standard of nutritional care for all inpatients. You will assist in obtaining and managing daily menu choices, interviewing patients for their food preference, supporting the monitoring of oral intake, and liaising with Food Services on the day-to-day provision of meals.
