Dining Support Specialist

As a Food Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical and care teams in delivering nutritious meals and refreshments to residents while ensuring the highest food safety and hygiene standards.
The OpportunityWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food Services Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly diverse workforce and contribute to making a meaningful difference in the lives of older people and their families.
- Set up each servery and dining area ready for each meal period in line with Regis standards.
- Set up trolleys for tea breaks and supper.
- Wash dishes and clean according to the Food Safety Program.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of areas where food is prepared and served.
- Assist with meal preparation when required.
- Monitor and record requirements of the Food Safety Plan, such as temperatures, cleaning schedules, receipt of goods, etc.
In addition to working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, we encourage individuals who possess excellent communication skills, are physically fit, and are able to work effectively under pressure to apply for this position.
Please note that applicants should be able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
