Job Title: Instrumental Music Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate piano teacher and accompanist to join our vibrant co-curricular program. This role offers an exciting opportunity for experienced instructors to inspire and guide students on their musical journey, from years 5 to 12.

The Role

This is a fixed term full time position although we will consider a job shared arrangement. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring piano lessons to students of varying skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • A relevant tertiary music qualification and/or demonstrated high-level expertise in piano teaching and accompanying.
  • Familiarity with AMEB and VCE syllabi.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with other educators.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and inspiring piano lessons to students of varying skill levels.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Assistance with ensemble rehearsals before school.

Requirements

Applicants must have a 'right to work' in Australia and obtain a WWCC/NPC.
