Job Title: Technical Writer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team in the defence industry.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering job security and long-term stability.

  • Create high-quality technical publications, manuals, and documentation for defence systems
  • Liaise with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to identify documentation needs
  • Review and edit technical and non-technical content for clarity and accuracy
  • Create graphics, diagrams, and illustrations to support technical content
  • Ensure documentation meets relevant standards and client requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Engineering or Trade qualifications (Cert IV and above)
  • Strong background in technical writing within Defence, engineering, or related industries
  • Knowledge or experience in electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC and/or radio frequency (RF) systems
  • Excellent written communication skills, including ability to write in Plain English
  • Exposure to relevant standards and tools such as S1000D, Solidworks, CATIA CAD, and XML/structured authoring would be highly regarded
