Technical roles in Defence are on the hunt for a skilled writer to support their cyber projects.

This varied role is working with the project team responsible for designing a system that will become the future of Australian cyber security. A tertiary qualification, certification or relevant industry experience is required along with strong technical writing skills and ability to meet allocated objectives. This also includes Defence industry experience and high level attention to detail as well as Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance.

Key responsibilities include planning developing organising writing and editing standard operating procedures and manuals researching developing and writing technical design specifications and technical manuals developing written or visual product process technical documentation business process maps and user manuals maintaining quality assurance of documents continuity and style of content developing and updating engineering documentation including a range of technical management strategies and plans logistic plans and instructions managing updates and revisions to technical documents procedures and manuals liaising with management staff customers contractors and other organisations.
