About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic marketing engagement initiatives that elevate the contributions of our suppliers and communities. With a focus on sustainability and community impact, this role requires a collaborative and creative individual who can craft compelling stories that showcase our work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a Supplier Recognition Program that celebrates our outstanding suppliers and positions Rio Tinto as the Customer of Choice in the mining and metals industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement our Supplier Engagement strategy, driving sustainable business practices and local partnerships.
  • Coordinate and attend events across Australia and New Zealand, representing Rio Tinto and fostering meaningful engagement with local communities and businesses.
  • Work closely with the Communications Team to highlight stories of local engagement, community impact, and supplier excellence.
  • Partner with various teams within Rio Tinto to amplify our message and make an impact where it matters most.
