Banking & Finance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Banking and Finance professional to join our Adelaide team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to broaden their experience with a rapidly growing practice.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work within a market-leading team, led by Peter Staniszewski, acting for all Big Four domestic banks, major non-bank lenders, overseas lenders, and significant corporate borrowers on bilateral, club, and syndicated lending across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Banking and Finance partner across matters;
  • Mentoring junior solicitors and paralegals;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key clients; and
  • Providing advice to clients and internal teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3 to 6+ years post-admission experience in banking and finance;
  • Strong experience in documenting lending transactions and advising on the PPSA;
  • Experience with settling transactions using PEXA;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Strong drafting skills;
  • Commercial acumen and critical thinking capabilities; and
  • For more senior candidates, leadership skills and an interest in developing our up-and-coming junior cohort.
