Banking and Finance Opportunity

HWL Ebsworth is seeking a candidate to join our highly regarded Banking & Finance team in Adelaide.

You will be working within a market-leading team of motivated and skilled lawyers, led by Peter Staniszewski. Our team acts for all major banks and lenders on bilateral, club, and syndicated lending across multiple industries.

This is an opportunity to gain exposure to interstate work at a national level and take your career to the next level.

The role involves supporting the Banking and Finance partner across matters, mentoring junior solicitors and paralegals, maintaining strong relationships with key clients, and providing advice to clients and internal teams.

  • Minimum 3 years post-admission experience in banking and finance;
  • Strong experience in documenting lending transactions and advising on the PPSA;
  • Experience with settling transactions using PEXA;
  • Commercial acumen and critical thinking capabilities; and
  • Leadership skills and an interest in developing our up-and-coming junior cohort for more senior candidates.
