Early Childhood Education Leader

The Wendouree Children's Centre is a 75-place long day care and kindergarten in a convenient location. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Education Leader to join our team.

As the successful applicant, you will provide leadership and support to a small team of educators, promoting excellence in education and care. You will work closely with our Manager Integrated Children's Services, Quality and Compliance Team, and other professionals to ensure high-quality services are delivered.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing responsive early childhood education and care">
• Supporting the development of the Wendouree and BALC creche teams and its individual members">
• Leading the team and developing excellence in service provision">
• Promoting positive and effective communications with all stakeholders">
• Supporting comprehensive approaches to service administrative functions and requirements">

We are looking for someone who has a Diploma or above in accordance with the National Quality Framework and the Education and Care Services National Regulations. You should have demonstrated knowledge and experience of current best practice in the provision of early childhood education and care services, particularly in an integrated environment.

You will be able to provide innovative, high-quality customer service within a child-centred, family-focused framework. Proven experience and ability to provide effective staff leadership and management; and ability to build capacity within the existing workforce.
