Job Overview:

The Assistant Director is a pivotal role that plays a key part in supporting the Centre Director and centre team to deliver high-quality early learning and care.

This position requires strong leadership and mentoring skills to support the development of the centre team, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care.
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team.
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence.
  • Implement and utilise the Goodstart Practice Guide.
