Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and will be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves dispensing medications, completing medication reconciliation processes, participating in research and clinical trials, and assisting with stock and inventory management. You will also provide education and counselling to patients, assist in coordinating clinical trials and compassionate access programs, contribute to the Oncology AMS program, and participate in quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing medications
  • Completing medication reconciliation processes
  • Participating in research and clinical trials
  • Assisting with stock and inventory management

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor of Pharmacy or higher, current registration as a registered Pharmacist with AHPRA and the Pharmacy Board of Australia, professional indemnity insurance, effective interpersonal and communication skills, oncology/hospital pharmacy experience is desirable, impeccable time management and organisational skills, and demonstrated ability in complex problem-solving with high attention to detail.
