We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team at Collarcare® in a Residential Aged Care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality personal care to residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
- Assist Registered Nurses with vital sign documentation, medication administration, and resident assessments.
- Support residents with meal consumption and monitor their nutrition to ensure optimal health.
- Implement infection control and prevention measures to maintain a safe environment.
- Deliver palliative care, restorative care, and pain management services to residents.
- Liaise with residents' families, doctors, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Certification in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations and annual flu shot
- First aid and CPR certification
- Minimum 6 months of full-time experience in Aged Care as a Personal Care Worker in Australia
- Current Police Check (under 12 months old) and NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
