About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Hobart. As a Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medication, and assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Providing respite and emotional support
  • Social support and transport to appointments
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements:

  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems
  • Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday
